While Vintage Vixen Cosmetics™, LLC can be rocked by all generations, it has been especially formulated for Vixens who embrace the 'Gift of Longevity': ages 35 and “Finer”. Meet Our CEO
CEO and founder, Jeri Guyette, has had a lifelong passion for beauty, fashion and science. Vintage Vixen Cosmetics, LLC has enabled her to weave all three art forms into one exquisite tapestry.
As a Licensed Master Cosmetologist, Paramedical Aesthetician, Certified Medical Electrologist, and Camouflage Make-up Artist working alongside Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons as well as Dermatologists for over 30 years, Jeri has treated multiple skin disorders. Her expertise lies in acneic, hyperpigmented, and aging skin. While performing countless treatments with various modalities and consultation recommendations, a common complaint was noted among her more mature female clients: that of the lack of cosmetic choices especially geared towards their unique skin care needs.
The loss of estrogen, whether via natural or surgical menopause, contributes to drier skin, and loss of elasticity, giving rise to dermal collapse, or as it’s commonly known: wrinkles. Cognizant that collagen levels can be boosted throughout our lifespan with essential organic products, Jeri set out to fill that void.
Combining her medical knowledge as a graduate of Clinical Laboratory Technology and The Dallas Center for Advanced Aesthetic Medicine, along with her scientific training with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Biology, Jeri experimented with a myriad of cosmetic and natural ingredients to create a line that would not only address these concerns but be beautiful and edgy in color too.
Not only was she able to infuse her line with botanicals to nourish the skin on a cellular level and safeguard the skin’s integrity with UVA and UVB protection, she was able to incorporate her love of animals by researching alternatives to common cosmetic ingredients so as to remain cruelty-free.
Evoking her love of Old Hollywood Glamour, Jeri culled her prism of colors from her top ten favorite actresses and songstresses from bygone era that represented the epitome of beauty, strength, class and sass to create Vintage Vixen Cosmetics, LLC.
A lifestyle / commercial / print / runway model who reached her half century milestone in 2019, Jeri believes that more mature women should be included in all aspects of advertisement and social media because “our demographic is under-represented and the desire to be our unique and best selves never fades with age. That, in itself, is beautiful.” A self-proclaimed Alpha Vixen, and recipient of the 2023 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award from The Lucas Center for Entrepreneurship, it is her desire to inspire all women to empowerment, disrupt ageism, and change beauty standards.
